Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith

Another installment in the Obi Wan Kenobi saga has recently been released. I attended the midnight flavor showing for this sixth installment, as I had done for the previous two and the re-releases of the original trilogy. Thus, the Star Wars circle is complete.

While some say the original trilogy of star wars had some lame dialogue. Though it also had its redeemable moments also: You like me because I'm a scoundrel.
Seriously though, the sixth installment of the Star Wars movies is on par with, or slightly lower than return of the Jedi. It was a great movie. Nowhere near the first two installments, but at least far better than the episode 1 (gag) and 2 (ack).

One hint that might tip off Star Wars fans as to the future intent of Lucas to not make more Star Wars movies is the fact that he had a Return of the King? style ending, attempting to tie up every loose end of the previous five star wars movies. This was my second biggest complaint, right after being blinded by love.

And who doesn't love a robot with tuberculosis? Doc Holiday would be proud! Seriously, though the coughing robot might seem a bit over cliche, I thought it was awesome. And let's not forget the lava planet. I mean, who could forget the lava planet, right? that was some great special effects. Not like all the other computer generated special effects that make everything including the air and the walls look like it was made in a vacuum plastic mold.

Overall, I give this movie two thumbs up. It was not *ahem* stellar, as the first two star wars movies, but it certainly was passable for a Star Wars movie (unlike episode 1 and its midichlorian mayhem and millions of souls crying out and then being suddenly silenced). On a scale of 1 to Jedi Master, it would attain something of a 8.5+.
